becoming the best trainer in the north east to America

When i started the Auger blog i wasn't sure what would happen with it. but since then a lot of things have changed.
For 1 i am training a lot of people. over 30 clients that range from regular people to professional figure models. Here is what happened, i figured out that there are only about 3 men in history who have ever trained a team of top powerlifters. when i mean top i mean people ranked in the top 100 in the country. So i made it my next goal to be number 4. I thought to my self how the hell can i prove that my training systems work for every one all ages, all walks of life, from the young to the old, from the light to the heavy, from the male to the female. Thats when it dawned on me, i would need to begin training people once again for competition. in 2003-2006 i had a bodybuilding team that pretty much reaked havoc on all the major competitions in the north east. i had Dustin Mahan, middle weight winner npc, naional top 20 guy. I also had Jy Gabiola a 18 year old phenom who took 2nd in the mens open at the new englands, then took 4th in the npc teen nationals. I acutally trained 3 back to back to back teen mr. massachusetts winners. Then i was training NIcolle Gagne, c.j. digamborino, vinny formasano, all to top 5 finishes in the light heavys and middle weight classes at npc competition. I was also helping out a bunch of bodybuilders online with diets, training, and competition posing. People were coming from all over to be trained. I was also competing at that time going as far as the NPC nationals. With all these great trainees came a lot of responsability. and i thought i wasnt giving my self a fare shot at going pro. so i pretty much slowed down trained them less and me more. i over trained at that time and didn't have my priorities strait. i also wasnt in a good financial place. Being patient can sometimes be the best thing for you. i had trained with and trained many great powerlifters in my life time. But it wasn't until now that i am able to train so many, the number one reason is the system i developed, has totally changed the way every one will lift. It is ground breaking, revolutionary, and not hard to do. depending on how hard you want to work, but the main result has been 4 top 100 lifters in the whole united states in the first 6 months. i have 6 more people that i am training that are getting close, which if i can get all 10 by the end of the year. that would not just be a milestone, i think only louie Simmons has reached that goal and no one else ever. Making me one of the top trainers in the whole united states. the show to watch will be september 10th. which i should if my lifters perform to there ability i should have 6 and be on my way towards 10. The best way for me to state the result is how many girls in your life have you ever seen deadlift over 300 pounds ??? answer that question first. what if i told you i have 2 girls deadlifting over 300 pounds in competition with no belt, no wraps , no suit. they take no supplements other than a protein bar, and multy vitamin. they are doing this with my training , my diet, and what god has given to them at birth.
how about seeing a guy deadlift 600 pounds with just a belt on.

I guess its all about getting more people so that i have more people to train and more people to promote. The system works are you looking for training in the northeast, contact paul desimone or gym warriors now at 978 766 6280

the auger experiment part 8 retrospect and squat

Todays auger experiment takes us looking to tomorrow. First off bin laden has been killed and its just the same its a new day and we are looking towards tomorrow. Now cutting off the head of a snake sometimes that snake grows a new head or 2 heads. But at least mission one has been accomplished. Tomorrow will be the Augers first real leg work out in the experiment. It will be the first true test of grit for the auger. He exclaimed to me that he may bring a bucket just in case he pukes. I told him it was a good idea, but it is not necessary to puke to have a good leg work out. More or less its a good leg work out when you feel as if you are going to hurl, or pass out. This means your intensity and weights were very effective. people ask why do they get so sick from the squat. the number 1 reason is central nervous system stimuli. the squat is literally a dangerous but i would say most important exercise. The squat takes you into the realms of fight or flight. i want you to think about this. your literally putting weights on your back directly over the spine. This puts direct pressure on the spine. And in turn it creates a response of absolute exhaustion. What you also don't realize is when you perform the squat your using the whole trunk, which is all the stabilizer muscles in the abdominals. this also is why some people get the roid gut. From holding your breath while doing squats. The squat is definitely the most misunderstood lift of all the lifts. people don't do them because they are hard! not only is the free squat the hardest exercise, but its also the most misused exercise . when i say misused i mean in form. first of all the parallel squat is a good way to train your squat to stay healthy. in powerlifting we learn to hit below parallel. in bodybuilding, most bodybuilders will go to or below parallel. what i see in gyms i wouldn't even call a half squat. it all starts in high school, football coaches teaching kids improper form, and passing that knowledge on and on and on . its like going down a ladder . inconsistent information causes for improper form. So i started doing some research on the web just to give you an idea of how many idiots out there are teaching people the wrong way to squat! ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yha2XAc2qu8&NR=1) this video here explains to me why so many morons have no clue how to squat. Rule number 1 !!! you never ever ever look down!!!!!!!!! you never move the neck or head during a squat. Just ask Chris Cormier about that. looking down while squatting is probably the worst advice you can give someone. notice the kid in the video performing the squat correctly when he looks strait. the best way to squat is to keep the head fixed in a strait position.

Have you ever seen Ed Coan looking strait down during a squat! hell no. so in my research i started looking for more idiots talking about squats. moron video number 2 ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRnGI3c5Jjs ) this video calls itself perfect squat. Though some of this video has merit, i find 3 major problems with the video. 1 the subject is wearing running sneakers, which push you on your toes, and put pressure on the knee. If he had known any thing about squatting he would know you need flat sole shoes. next the squats this kid is performing are not parallel because you do not judge by the knee and hamstring, you judge by the hip. this is the most important and most frustrating part of competitive powerlifting. is a judge that does not know the rules, and people thinking they are squatting below parallel when they are not even at parallel. Videos such as these are why people can not trust information on the web, and free information. Hence why personal trainers, and sports experts like me are needed. This is also why kids waste their time in the gym and with supplements that don't work. Very few supplements are good, and vitamins are only good if you know how to properly use them. Training, and Diet are the most important things if you want to get in shape. With out them your really just wasting your time. This is the whole reason why i have started writing, and teaching people, its the reason why i train people. ANd i can admit that when i was younger i didn't train with good form at times, and it was in those times that i really didn't gain any thing. in retrospect i now know why that happened. Form, training, diet they all go together like a puzzle. This is why the Auger came to me for his diet, work out, and supplement plan.

auger part 6 day 1 sasquatch

today is day one of the experiment. and a very nice day at that. the weather is about 68 degrees blue skies. So i decided i would go out side and spend some time with my nephew before i would get to the gym and start the auger. as i walked out side i noticed that there were a lot of dogs barking in and around my home, so i grabbed my camera and decided to take a look. my nephew grabbed me and told me that we needed to play. so i stopped in my tracks grabbed the bat and he began to pitch to me. i started hitting the balls gently back in and around him as he threw. and then i smashed a ball over the fence. my nephew ran after it, and thats when i heard a rustling in the bushes. i grabbed my camera and ran to see what was all the commotion. as we approached the sasquatch we noticed him steadily looking around i started snapping pictures off. i was nearly killed before the big day. we ran back to the home and started playing with baseballs again. here is one of those pictures.

this is day one of the auger experience prepare for the auger. The auger was still experiencing a lot of problems from yesterdays shopping. I think that the bruins win and me deciding not to write his shoulder and arms workouts yet were stressing him out. so i decided that i may play a few tricks on the auger today and see what his reactions would be. first off the auger needed to get ready as if he was going to war. so he had to wear his work boots. put your boots on and prepare for battle. auger has been showing every one his new boots that he got. they are some kind of special forces boot. they only weight about 12 ounces. the problem is he is so busy showing them to every one he's been walking around the locker room with only one shoe on. so trick number 1 i will pull on him today is to tell him that i am not going to write the shoulders and arms and i will photograph his reaction. 2ndly the auger is supposed to be here at 6, and its 5 48. so i am not sure if i will have to end this here and keep you waiting. till tomorrow.

just as i was about to publish the blog the auger arrived! he explained to me that he had already taken 4 shits this morning, the 4 shits were not diarreah, but more solid good shits meaning that his system is being cleaned up. he felt so good that after he finished the work out , later on in the day he actually wanted to come back to the gym and work out. the work out aspect today was chest, and the work out felt great. the auger stopped with 225 pound on the incline for 6 clean paused reps. every rep was slow and controlled. good contraction and squeeze on every repetition. actually felt the best pump he has ever felt on the dips. he had not felt any thing like this in a long time. hes a little sore. but other than that he felt like his body is growing. the best part is the work out is right infront of him it made him feel a little better. Because when you have a battle plan your ready to attack. The auger felt so pumped up he ran back to stop and shop and we took this pic!!!!

so far day 1 was a success
