training origins The INdya experiment
As we speak the Auger experiment has now changed to the Indya experiment which will now focus on the transformation of a girl i have been training for the past 4 months. Indya has been competing now for 2 months in the sport of powerlifting. Her mother is a figure competitor. Indya is in her mid 30s and training to one day box, Compete in Figure, and to become a top powerlifter. When she came to me for training she really was stuck. on here scale it read 161 and she couldn't break it. With in 2 weeks i got her in the low 150's on her scale. Indya has natural genetics for strong arms. That was the first thing i noticed. But she doesn't have the greatest body for deadlifts which has been the exercise she has struggled with the most. But since i am the leader for training deadlift's probably in the whole world. I have her deadlifting 265 pounds in competition. Indya will be competing in 2 weeks in the uspf. We are trying to get her to the nationals. she already holds records in the epf. which she is competing on OCT 16, and Oct 29th. She will do one more powerlifting show this year probably in November. And then we may put her training towards figure competition. Indya's goals are to get in shape and get stronger. but mainly she wants to go into a lower weight class, which will make her more competitive. Our Final goal is to have Indya stronger then she is now, competing in the 130 class. Her starting weight of 165 pounds on my scale at night. that's 35 pounds she needs to loose. I have put her on a medium supplement program to help with the training. The supplements and vitamins all work together with the diet so that you are not starving the body and you can still have full nutrition. But your reducing calories. This will be the first week that we start doing full double session work outs. So we will see what happens. my goal for her is that on oct 29 th she weigh 151.0 pounds. lets see if she can make that. Tomorrrow is the first work out please stay tuned .

becoming the best trainer in the north east to America
When i started the Auger blog i wasn't sure what would happen with it. but since then a lot of things have changed.
For 1 i am training a lot of people. over 30 clients that range from regular people to professional figure models. Here is what happened, i figured out that there are only about 3 men in history who have ever trained a team of top powerlifters. when i mean top i mean people ranked in the top 100 in the country. So i made it my next goal to be number 4. I thought to my self how the hell can i prove that my training systems work for every one all ages, all walks of life, from the young to the old, from the light to the heavy, from the male to the female. Thats when it dawned on me, i would need to begin training people once again for competition. in 2003-2006 i had a bodybuilding team that pretty much reaked havoc on all the major competitions in the north east. i had Dustin Mahan, middle weight winner npc, naional top 20 guy. I also had Jy Gabiola a 18 year old phenom who took 2nd in the mens open at the new englands, then took 4th in the npc teen nationals. I acutally trained 3 back to back to back teen mr. massachusetts winners. Then i was training NIcolle Gagne, c.j. digamborino, vinny formasano, all to top 5 finishes in the light heavys and middle weight classes at npc competition. I was also helping out a bunch of bodybuilders online with diets, training, and competition posing. People were coming from all over to be trained. I was also competing at that time going as far as the NPC nationals. With all these great trainees came a lot of responsability. and i thought i wasnt giving my self a fare shot at going pro. so i pretty much slowed down trained them less and me more. i over trained at that time and didn't have my priorities strait. i also wasnt in a good financial place. Being patient can sometimes be the best thing for you. i had trained with and trained many great powerlifters in my life time. But it wasn't until now that i am able to train so many, the number one reason is the system i developed, has totally changed the way every one will lift. It is ground breaking, revolutionary, and not hard to do. depending on how hard you want to work, but the main result has been 4 top 100 lifters in the whole united states in the first 6 months. i have 6 more people that i am training that are getting close, which if i can get all 10 by the end of the year. that would not just be a milestone, i think only louie Simmons has reached that goal and no one else ever. Making me one of the top trainers in the whole united states. the show to watch will be september 10th. which i should if my lifters perform to there ability i should have 6 and be on my way towards 10. The best way for me to state the result is how many girls in your life have you ever seen deadlift over 300 pounds ??? answer that question first. what if i told you i have 2 girls deadlifting over 300 pounds in competition with no belt, no wraps , no suit. they take no supplements other than a protein bar, and multy vitamin. they are doing this with my training , my diet, and what god has given to them at birth.
how about seeing a guy deadlift 600 pounds with just a belt on.
I guess its all about getting more people so that i have more people to train and more people to promote. The system works are you looking for training in the northeast, contact paul desimone or gym warriors now at 978 766 6280

auger is insane
ok todays auger blog just to put it plainly is auger is insane. today he came to me and told me he felt weak!! that he wasnt really strong .. and then he deadlifted 425 pounds for 10 reps.. after doing that he says i would like to concur on what i told you , i think im actually a lot stronger.. so i told him lets do anther set and video tape it .. this is what we shot
that 445 pounds for 9 reps right after he had done 425.
its pretty funny but people say this stuff to me all the time ... your getting stronger its a mental thing , as long as you follow the program, and put your train to the brain.. nothing can stop you!!
contestt is july 16 at gym warriors enter the meet, get ready to go nuts,
you can accomplish any thing with posative energy, the right training program and the right diet !!! its all about you wanting it !!
book a training program with me today !!! or come to my lifting seminar july 17th .
and then he decided to pull 465 for 5 reps ! after doing all those reps ... i would say this dude can proabably max out right now at a 650 deadlift. just needs to do some rack pulls. but for now ..its the auger blog ..toon in next time !!!! for more

auger blog! yes its been a while
each picture is taken 1 month a part . pic 1 was after the first 3 months of dieting and training, pic two was last month , and picture 3 was taken yesterday. pay attention to the chest muscles how they got continuelly firmer and harder. The bottom of the stomach has lost fat storage, and the overall fat over the whole body has lost fat, also the arms have better overall vascularity and the skin looks tighter. total weight loss from each picture is "0" typically i hold more fat on my back than any other body part!! so when we go over all the back pictures the change is insane.
the auger .. has seen extensive changes in the past 3 weeks .. for one his body weight is now 215 pounds .. gaining another pound . whats impressive is that he has lost body fat, he is leaner and gaining weight. this was thought to be impossible with out the use of steroids .. in which i have proved wrong countless times before .. as you will see in my pictures..
secretly i have made my self the test subject of a 6 month experiment to see how much muscle i could gain and fat i could loose with out using any supplements, or vitamins, only food, and a recovery drink i made for my self after a work out would be used. i would also use 2 protein bars, and protein shake as meals.. i used isopure protein i would fluctuate my calories each week. . as body fat would drop i would increase the calories this way it would be a steady and slow increase of muscle gain , to loss of fat so far .. my starting weight was 275 currently i am weighing 255 pounds. my waist has dropped 6 sizes, in which i am happy with. my strength has gone up also .. 30-40 pound increase on the 3 major lifts dead, squat and bench. my numbers now are about 100 pounds off from my all time best totaling lifts so i am 300 pounds off the mark of my best total. currently i totaled a 1275 raw with no belt. my alltime total was a 675 dead, 550 squat, and 385 bench raw with a belt. currently i did a 555 dead, 455 squat, and a 265 bench with out a belt . so looking at the numbers you can see that i am starting to get stronger and closer to my all time total.
if you dont know in 2006 i suffered a major injury and set back tearing my tricep tendon, and pec. injuries that took 4 years of rehab!! mental and physical. in 2010 i suffered a major injury again on a freak accident, to my pec and elbow.
so the rehab began again just as i had gotten my numbers back up . this time i am taking my time .. and setting goals that are realistic to the injury. also going to drs. to get mri,s x rays, and information on the injury to help the rehab process ..
so far its been 1 year. and as you can see other than the bench my numbers are going back to where they should be. but again this is a totally different approach. instead of doing the rehab and training i am training to rehab.. its all movement and mental based training. very different from your every day work out. the most important things that i have learned is diet is the main component to muscle gain, the other thing i have learned that over and under training are very similar. if you under train you can become sore , and if you over train you can become sore .. its all about reaching the correct thresh hold of work for each muscle group. this has been the main component of my thesis .
the auger experiment will continue but on a much more scientific level.
on july 16 th we will be holding a powerlifting contest at gym warriors in peabody mass
on the 17th of july i will be holding a seminar for all athletes on how to over come injuries mentaly and physically. i will also take questions on training and diet .. tickets are 25.00 per person .. starts at 12 noon.!! you must purchase in advance you can by calling 978 766 6280

the auger experiment part 21 we are back
so its been about a week prior to writing .. and a lot has happened. since then the Auger has gone out of his mind to say the lease . he keeps telling me he wants to push this thing even farther and go insanely intense. so i have to say the auger has gained another pound upping his total body mass to 215 pounds which is incredible since he keeps loosing fat! still the auger who had the war with the arm man. during competition the arm man told auger to turn the music up .. the auger is still talking about it. he cant believe that the arm man has now embraced the auger way. other things have also happened. the ostrim sticks have now been called auger sticks , and every one is into the name and the jerky.. beef and ostritch.. the auger has also been grunting and walking around the gym making God awful sounds lol .. its pretty funny to say the least . So it has been a while and i really need to reconnect, with every one .. the DeSimone project which has been going on for the past 6 months, has been my top secret training program. which today i will release the magic before and afters.
LOOK AT THE DIFFERANCE IN THE AFTER!!
THE AUGER NOW REFERS TO HIM SELF AS THE AUGER... so basically i have developed a training system that changes the way you train each week, not only in the form and the exercises. it also mixes some training with sprints and other types of throws ect.. this has created a lot of mass on my physique, and also tons and tons of calories. !!! Calories need to be from a good source . i do not eat crap food. to the point where i had to make my self eat something bad. my cheat food was frozen yogurt.. you must be strict with what you put in your body! that and your training should always reflect the life style that your living. i have since stopped doing cardio in the gym and only walking out side and or doing drills. the point is. . this training grows muscle, and creates size , shape, and simetry!
as always follow the auger blog and share it with your friends.

the auger experiment part 20 shit happens
so this weekend marked a spectacular weekend. First of all its a long weekend, thanks to all the men and woman who serve this country proud. Memorial day is a day for remembering those who died, those who were injured, and those who served and serve our country. So please thank someone today! Now moving on with the Auger, he had a big weekend. He was working the gym warriors 2011 2nd anual may powerlifting contest for the epf. Auger was ready to rock! he was wearing his door man fanny pack, and also sporting his big red marker.the auger is no short of a cyborg terminator. He will get you! dont even try to get into this contest for free. The auger will hunt you down and make you take your wallet out. WHy would you not pay when we give half the money to local charitys any ways. It was no different, people tried to get in for free once again. and the auger hunted them down with his cyborg sight.
the competition was going very smoothly! people do not like it when they get flagged on a lift. No one likes it. And especially when its one of your friends. Being a judge means you have to really know what the hell your doing. Judging a powerlifting contest is no different. Especially with the squat. I have seen a lot of contests in my life and this one is no different. we had every call right! most of the calls are easy. The goal of the judge is to create a fair contest for all competitors. one of my friends that i flagged Angelo got pissed off. But the truth of the matter is that it was a flag and the other judge also saw the same thing. so i dont have to second guess any one this is why we have 3 judges at a competition. This is also why you can not have 1 judge! It doesnt matter because you either do it right and get it or you don't.
In the end people get pissed but they get over it. unless you have something against someone , if thats the case you should not be a judge. the worst experience of my life is something i had to deal with in bodybuilding from 2003-2006 where a head judge had something against me. Not only that but he also had 3 other judges placing me in last place or 2nd to last place purpously. I didnt find this out until i actually looked at the score cards. Then i found out he was training people in my class. THen i also saw that the other judges were placing me 1-8 places .. while these 3 were placing me 12-15 th or even worse. After all the hard work i had put in. i was very pissed off not to mention all the money i was handing this guy for my teams that were competing. i forced a full boycot on him and complained showing the scores as evidence and video that i had of contests. This is when i found peoples true colors and found some good and some bad. WE move on in life, if you dont then you cant grow. i went into powerlifting for one reason its much more clear cut sport. you either do it or you dont do it. not many aspects can affect the outcome. a lot of people think im cocky, arrogant, its not the case. you want to be strong, then be strong there is nothing wrong with showing off a bit. i enjoy it. hell you cant compete more than 5 times in a year so what else you gonna do. sit there and pretend its church, no way!
So the contest i trained a bunch of people who competed infact i had people that trained going against each other, i like that, make the best person win. I train them all the same, its not a big deal if one losses its insentive to train harder. if you want to be the best you really do need someone to push you to get there. otherwise your going to be happy with your progress.
my first trainee Mike Salsgiver i am pushing to total 1600 raw with just a belt. his total for this meet was 1425 with just a belt. i let him use my belt that was passed on to me from my brother. He is in the 220 class. I also have a trainee who i have compete derek b. derek came in being trained by tps in everett mass. the problem with the training that they used on him. is it was horrible, he had the worst form i had ever seen, he was trained totally wrong horrible training. i am pissed that they even call them selves trainers. they take videos of people i have trained and trained with my whole life like lew peppe. and say we have the strongest gym around . bull shit .. how about garett braumen i trained him too, or how about nick fagone ahh ..yes also a gym warrior. yah that pisses me off. So i have trained derek and its been hard because we had to break all the horrible bad habits they taught him ( not even going to parallel on squat, using a high box, not benching correctly, and worst of all never doing a free squat. ohh yah and how about teaching him to hitch to deadlift) the worst part is he spent over 8,000 dollars on this training. which pisses me off even more. I dont like talking shit about any one but the truth is the truth if i piss you off its because your lying to your self. face the facts! well derek is chasing mike and its helping his lifts go up faster than normal, lets look at his contest lifts. in 2 months time
bench increased 25 pounds contest
squat increased 25 pounds contest
deadlift increased 55 pounds contest
thats 105 pound increase!! he will have to do even better the next time around but i think he can especially on the squat and bench! every one knows i am the best deadlift trainer in the northeast look at my records, and all the people i trained on deadlift. all you have to do is look at the girls i train. i have trained kim clark for 2 months now she went from never doing a deadlift to pulling 285 pounds raw no belt no wraps yup in the 148 class. then corrine dipietro matching that 285, or how about corrine squating 250 pounds. these are in contest. and we have them on video. Its knowing the system and learning how to use it. As we discussed before this is why the Auger experiment is even happening.
mike will be my next experiment for competition i see him as a crossover bodybuilder/powerlifter who can do both , and win at both . my goal for mike is to make him elite, its my goal for all my trainees. mike is much closer to this level now then the others so its possible much sooner but it will all depend on their drive. any one of the people i train or who want to train with me can become elite. But how bad do you want it !! do you want to be in the magazines, do you want people hearing about you when you walk into a contest? do you want to be sponsored, endoresed? do you have what it takes. ? all it takes is coming in for some training. i tell people i have 2 rules 1. don't ask me questions. 2 listen to every thing i say. every thing don't take that lightly.
so the auger got crazy he went nuts and we captured it on video .. your going to have to check it out on youtube soon. if you want to start training hit me back
now for more auger shit happens , auger hurt his groin a little doing his squats and deads, most likely reagrivating an old injury. but its ok stretching is a great way to fix groin injuries, stretch and direct preassure. i would not suggest to much icing of the area. that can damage the testicles. and we dont want to hurt those guys! so next week we will weigh him in again!! big week this week ... happy memorial day.

the auger experiment part 19 holes
This experiment has become such a journey in only 3 weeks. This week is no different. this week brings us to the powerlifting contest for the epf. may 28 th. so far 8 people from gym warriors have signed up for the contest. i believe we may have 4 more people representing the gym maybe more we will soon find out. the contest costs 10.00 at the door and the auger is the door man. Yes the auger, he will be live in person at the contest. All gym warriors clothing will be sold at half price at the meet, we will also have some macho man stuff, and who knows what else. i am looking forward to having the contest and getting the gym cleaned up, getting all these left over trophy's out of here. so i can clean my office completely. i hate not having a clean office. The auger who has been going out of his mind lately, has noticed so much change in his body its very hard to fathom. how is this guy getting so many results this quickly. i have to say its his determination, my training, and my diet. He has to put in the work but the battle plan is there. its like if bill bellicheck is your coach you know that your going to have a good game plan no matter how well or badly you play. how well you play is what results you get. its no different in training, bodybuilding, powerlifting, and sports. to become the best athlete, you need to be physically and mentally ready for the challenge. You also must eat and keep your body active. so when i train people for competition i have them take 3 days off prior to competing. i like to have them come in on Monday and Tuesday and do some brushing up on form , commands, and warm ups. this way they get a muscle memory for the lifts in the contest. it usually doesn't feel like much but what it does do. is builds confidence that i didn't see in the last contest. When you get a new recruit so to speak its very difficult to just throw them into a contest. but sometimes its what we do, to see if they can handle it. Its also good experience, no matter how prepared you are for your first contest, 900 times out of 901 your going to screw up. Usually its on a command. Unless you have a trainer who knows how to do command training, you are not going to be used to someone telling you when and when not to lift a weight. Any one can bounce a weight of their chest. but can you lift the weight off your chest when someone tells you to. That is the true question! This is why competing is a challenge and why it is also fun. I do train people who are in the same weight class, which does not bother me because the best person will win! but we are all on 1 team, our personal goals are to beat our last lift. No matter what place we finish as long as we are taking a step forward then we are winning.
I would also like to explain that i train people to the 60-80 format which means we almost never max out on any lifts. our goal is to max out on the day of the contest and peak out. This way we are never training our body to overload. and instead we do it on the most important day. the day of the meet. this is also the same type of training for bodybuilding. when you bodybuild no one cares if you were the best the day before or if you did a 900 pound deadlift at home. it doesn't count unless its on that day. You have to come dialed in, just like the horse from kentucky derby , the bodybuilding term dialed in means you came in at your best. This is why when i tell people don't max out on your lifts learn how to train! but your brain to the train!
I am looking for more people to train to prepare for contest both bodybuilding and powerlifting. If you are interested please contact me. I do have a lot of people but as the summer comes i can take on more people and work longer hours at night. I want you to break records i want you to compete! i want you to destroy the competition. join us in doing so! compete , train , grow and win . with gym warriors and pauly des!
as always god bless,
go Bruins!!!! pauly des

the auger experiment part 18 weight
today marks almost 3 weeks that we have been doing the auger experiment. The auger was in the gym early today. it was 11 am when i walked in. Auger was already finished working out. he was pissed off. he walked over to me and said he feels so small, his clothes are baggy on him, he just doesn't feel big. i started laughing at him. I said "are you serious" you look huge. He looked at me and said can you weigh me . I told him sure lets get on this scale. You are not going to believe this. guess how much the auger weighed? 210? 200? 198? absolutely not ....... 214 pounds !!! on the money. yes that means that the auger gained 7 pounds in 1 week. so you think he would be fatter? absolutely not .. take a look at the pics.. not only did he gain 7 pounds from last week but he also got leaner, his legs got bigger, his abs look way better, you can finally see them!!! Auger was so happy!!! all we did was change to diet number 2!! which basically increased calories by 300-400 . The auger will stick with this diet for another week before we up the calories again! you see you have to really tinker with your diet until you find what works. different foods effect people differently. each meal you take in should be looked at from a nutrition stand point not by taste. if the food feeds your body and makes you strong then you should be eating it. Its finding the discipline to doing that. The other thing that we need to pay attention to is being patient and trusting in your trainer. personally i know what the hell I'm doing, i hate when people ask me a million and one questions. because it shows me they are not trusting me. Trust me i know what i am doing. i have been doing this for a long time. i can see a person walking on the street and know what the hell they are doing wrong. i look at people differently then most. every one to me is a mathematical problem. i take the numbers and run them and find what numbers they need. obviously your not going to understand that. That is why i say don't ask me a million questions just trust in the system and follow it. I will see a problem with my own eyes, and on the scale. Its all about keeping your weight up, and looking different in the mirror. this is why most diets do not work. diets must change over time.
look at his legs!!! he is not only getting better separation!! but he is bigger. so how do you explain that! the legs look bigger and the abs are leaner and he weighs 214 pounds 7 pounds heavier than last week. which is supposed to be impossible while training and dieting naturally. !! hmm i would say ahh lets see what happens next week !
well i think thats enough proof for this week !
if you want a diet , if you want training please contact me add me on facebook till then
im pauly des! have a good day .. go bruins
also we are holding a powerlifting contest next saturday !! may 28th epf . 3 lift contest plus curl . you can compete in any thing you want . thanks so much !

the auger experiment part 16 and 17 Big Toney
back and legs.
Back part 16!
IT was back day for the Auger, and Big Toney just happened to step in. Big Toney ( aka al) is a heavy hitter when it comes to upper body lifts. He will tell you him self , he wishes he worked legs when he was younger. Big Toney is a x marine who has the unsashable appetite for weights, and heavy metal. When Big Al walked in the Auger went nuts. he started head banging and air guitaring. i was a little scared. Then i caught the two conversing about heavy metal , and training. The auger got very scared when he heard that Big Toney had just purchased the rest of the ostrims. Auger needs his protein too!!! he was yelling and screaming at the top of his lungs. what else is new ?
The auger did a lot of good form exercises, squeezing and pulling. but i did hear some complaining about his supplement regiment that he really wasn't feeling much from the vitamins ect. I had to reassure him before he tried to rip my arm off. He also said people had been asking him if he still worked out. funny thing is i thought he looked bigger. HIs forearms have more separation, and he's more vascular. I know what to look for, but i have to help him feel better about the diet and training so i took some pics to show him.
Auger saw the pics and could see for himself the change. in 3 weeks.
now lets take a peak at leg day.
Legs
Today marked the day i was going to personal train Mr. Auger at 12 noon time at Gym Warriors peabody. I had to train Joyce at 11, and derek at 1. The auger came in early to stretch a little and get amped up before his work out. We talked about how crapy his deadlift form was the week before , and how he needed some help on his squats. it was evident that if the auger continued to use the same form he would be injured on in a wheel chair. His deadlift looked like a stiff leg deadlift. Then his squat was not hitting parallel. So what was it going to take to help the auger. My personal training. I got the Auger to deadlift first we went up to 445. with propper form!!!! take a look
Squats were just as fun! We were going over each lift and showing how to drive the bar through the body. Auger caught on very well. He also loved the type o negative music that was playing. black no 1 is a good song. its pretty funny. my favorite line is" you cant go out cuz your roots are showing! die them black" its about a hair dye. Any ways we had to change a few things around in the augers supplement regimen. making it a tad bit stronger. Big Toney came in right as the Auger was finished. He was in rare form. REady for an isopure and a nitric force. yummy!! ostrims are almost r.i.p. When the Big toney and Auger collide the earth shakes!! We also had a couple people from Power fit come join gym warriors today. They actually took off their power fit shirts and wore them inside out. I have nothing against that gym, i think its a ok gym and i rather see the mom and pops then the stupid big fitness shit holes that keep popping up and people keep wasting their time in. But i want to get one thing strait, we built gym warriors for a purpous and that is to get results. People come here to train with out people staring at them , for results, to get in shape to be themselves. Its the hard core mentality that you can be your self and train really train. if you think training is about being quiet, then you never pushed your self to the limit, scream rip through the weights get loud, lift and train. Get results what ever the results you want! that is why i go to work every day thats why Gym Warriors is here! and thats why you should come to Gym Warriors

the auger experiment part 14 and 15 spoons
The Gym has been pretty busy lately. Auger had a lot of motivated lifters as the college kids return. The gym becomes much busier and busier. I took a look at the auger today and he is getting leaner every day. Its very obvious. He has veins every where, his waist is smaller. Best of all his lifts are all going up. He lost 1.5 pounds so far. Today i got to go for a nice walk and enjoy the weather. The auger walked in and he was ready to train. Auger constantly is going over his notes, checking his papers as if he's curt schilling. The auger had to hit arms today.. and arms is what he hit!
Tomorrow being saturday marks the 2 weeks that the auger will have been training so lets recap whats happened. THe Bruins have defeated the phili flyers in 4 strait games!!! very happy i was at game 4 thanks Gabriella for taking me to the game!
on the other hand our beloved boston celtics have been defeated by the Miami Heat.
I have personally seen my lifts going up, Joyce and I went to the npc cutler classic, and saw a lot of great physiques. We also lost our adsense deal for blogging. Which is a pain in the ass. Blogger has been up and down each week, but we will prevail. WE also filmed a short comedy skit for madd t.v. which the director said we nailed it. So thats a good thing . i also got asked to be the lead singer to a local rock band, which i will gladly start practicing with on my spare time. i need some hobbies. Ok enough of the recap. THink terminator think Auger!
Yesterday thursday may 12th The Auger was here with full intent to make shoulders like boulders. he was hungry literally, i mean he brought his food with him to the gym. It was during his work out when things started getting crazy! First of all Tony tough talk spencer walked in the door. hands blazing, screaming at the top of his lungs auger time. He got so psyched up he was screaming during his sets .
Thats when tony screamed so hard he actually had to leave the gym , for a couple mins and get some fresh air. he made him self sick! not even kidding! i was pretty surprised because i have never seen that happen before till now. i am used to jamie the son floyd screaming at the top of his lungs and then screaming some more. (paul weller would be laughing right now). So i was training Gabriella at that time we had to chalk her up for her deadlifts. I think we were doing 220 at the time. chalking your hands is a good thing but it can lead to tearing your much earned calis. tearing of the calus can hurt a lot and ruin your training this is why i suggest that you moisturize after every work out. especially your hands. It will help you in the long run.
When the Auger finished working out he went on a rant looking for food. He was starving almost eating one of the new college kids. he grabbed a bunch of food and started ripping through it and then we hear Shit i forgot my spoon! Spoon? you need a spoon to eat applesauce? Auger didnt know you could eat applesauce with out a spoon. So me and lovell had to teach him.
this is what we taught him! The Auger caught on quick and commenced eating. Then came The night training of Big Mike and Mr. Victor. Victor who is one of my other experiments has come from the Ukrain. He was trained by 2 of the top powerlifters in the Ukrain. He now trains with me! So far he has put 20 pounds of muscle on, and increased all his lifts by a lot. Using the DeSimone basic training plan. All lifters can grow with very simple training techniques all made in the program. Last night he hit a pr deadlift of 265.
Big mike hit a 565 last night in hopes to be hitting over 600 at the contest may 28th. not bad for a raw 220 competitor.
Now lets move on to today!!!!! Today Auger was going to blast his arms. We have seen a lot of the Augers arms lately. Lets face it the arms are a good way to judge someone because you can see them a lot easier than any other body part.
now its time to weigh the auger and get an exact weight for this dude!!!!
auger weight 207 pounds with zero food in him! in the am!!! we will keep track of his weight exact time every week with no food .. this way we can see what's going on !!!

the auger experiment part 13 deads
Today was a deadlift day for the auger .. and deadlifts are what he did. 475 pounds for 2 reps. and let me tell you the Auger was screaming a lot of crazy things while doing these deads. Then came squating, that was something to watch!!! finally getting to parallel. and below. He his a 275 on the squat for 5 reps. He also said that this was one of his best leg work outs of all time! The augers intensity is at an all time high. i am going to suggest though that The auger gets some personal training sessions on leg day for form . because his deadlift is not correct form. he uses way too much back and needs some training to help with that 1 on 1. So in a 10 day span the Auger has already rocked the deadlift. thats pretty impressive i am giving my self a tap on the back. !!
now on to some highlights of the day. kim today deadlifted 255 pounds for 2 reps and also squated 160 for 4 reps. EpF powerlifting contest will be held at gym warriors on may 28th. its 10 dollars for tickets to watch. the contest should be very impressive. Every one has been training very hard for this meet.
now here is the pic you all voted for . the auger leg !!!
and big mike attempted a 655 rack pull the other day but couldnt get it off the rack .. he did get a 635 for 2. which is pretty good, he will be going for a 600 pound raw deadlift on the 28th of may . come see the big lifts at warriors 119 foster st. peabody ma. 01960

the auger experiment part 12 cutler classic 11
the 2011 npc jay cutler classic was here this sunday. It brought back a lot of memories good, bad, and funny. The funniest thing of all, is seeing the same exact people over and over again. This year i would call it redemption. A lot of guys who had placed not so well in prior years made a big leap this year nearly all of them winning a class or 2. I will start of with Glen Rodriguez who i have known for about 10 years now. He used to train at my gym for several years. i like glen he's a good guy and he trains very hard. i have to give him credit he finally did not over diet and kept size on. That size helped him in the npc. He took the masters class overall, novice 1st in class 2nd overall and finished 2nd in the open. Good job Glen!
Then came jimmy a kid who i met from GNC. I had seen his pics from the previous year. he cam in very flat, and was holding water. but not this year he won the overall in the novice and finished first place in his open class. I was impressed with his leg development, and he was very humble and respectful when i talked to him.
Thirdly was big heavy weight Matt. I have known matt for about 15 years he trained with greg rando , and jose raymond for years. I used to talk to those guys a lot back at nautilas plus. Matt who i have competed against has done so many shows. I dont think i had ever seen him win a class though he usually would finish top 5 or not place from my memory. This year his legs were fantastic and his conditioning was dead on. He won the heavy weight class.
It was good to see Jay Cutler, Bev Francis, Steve Weinburger, Arthur, and every one else. Best of all i got to show Joyce that she could now win in the NPC! We walked around boston got some cardio in after the show. the funny thing is we parked for 12 bucks in a parking lot that closed at 8. We had to leave the show at 7 30 find a new parking spot. We found the parking spot and hurried back. it was then that Jay started posing, and being friends with the cut above lol jay had a little joke in store for me. Jay cutler posed on the stage and then started to do his usual off the stage posing when he came over to where i was sitting and went to pull me up to pose next to him in a pose down. ABSOLUTELY NO WAY i was going to stand up next to jay cutler mr. olympia and pose. but it was awesome and i got some amazing pics of the cut above. lol we laughed after the show about it. My friend joyce who is a pro figure competitor was shocked and in awe of the whole situation. I think she may have peed her pants. lol ..no she really didn't but you never know. lol . the show had 152 competitors and all in all it was a good show!
now back to the Auger. today was back day for the auger and his strength is now starting to improve the auger did bent over rows with 315 inverted like Dorian Yates . i watched him to make sure he didn't do sloppy form. the auger then started to talk to me about how excited and happy he was .. in just 8 days his strength had increased.. thats pretty good i must say. Tomorrow the auger has the day off so we will be talking about the bruins game and going over that .. and possibly a little more on the cutler classic. because there is a lot i left out . i am training so many people right now it was hard to get this blog done today! but don't you fret tomorrow i will have another fresh blog done. with more info and more pics!
any questions ask away and share the blog with your friends . also were looking for sponsors .. so please let us know !

the auger experiment part 11 training partners
Training partners can be a good or a bad thing. We briefly discussed how having a training partner can be a good thing. But it can also be a bad thing in some cases. It's almost like being on a team. Having guys who got your back so that you can maximize your lifts. The most important thing when choosing a training partner is showing up on time. Nothing is worse then a training partner who does not show up, or when one guy is waiting all day for his partner to show up! It is called having respect for one another. Sometimes the occasional i cant make it or i am running late happens. But if its happening daily, then its time to get a new partner. When you get a good trio of guys, its almost like being on a team. Having 3 is probably the smartest way to train because 3 is the perfect number for rest. this way each person will perfectly be able to lift and have the perfect amount of rest time. Having more then 3 guys can be a pain in the ass. My suggestion is start off with 2, and then move on to 3. Make sure that you guys are close enough in strength to that your not constantly taking plates off, doing so wastes time and energy. Another important aspect but highly over looked is, wasting time. One training partner needs to organize the system while the other, or others chime in on what they would like to do. If your all on the same page then your training will come together. You can motivate and grow quicker when on a team!
The auger came into the gym today for day 5 of the program. I was training Joyce, and then Kim, and then marcy by the time he left i had trained 3 people. He was psyched about how well his work out had gone. i decided we should take some pictures. He thought it would be a good idea. I decided why the hell not. Auger did have a few questions for me during his training, he would ask me if he should used controlled and slower movements. I told him yes, just like in the article i wrote for Natural Muscle magazine you need to stretch and squeeze the muscle for full contraction. This full contraction is what gets you pumped. Auger decided he would do this for every exercise. I would glance over at him working out and noticed that he was doing every thing with controlled form. This is how you get shape, and size to the muscles. instead of trying to lift all the weights in the gym. Work on your form! It is just as important as the weight. Take a look at the before and afters !!!
Before picture taken 5 days ago
After pic taken today
Ok so these results are wacky. i kind of don't even believe it. When i decided to take a pic of auger today i was kind of thinking to my self usually it takes 3 weeks to start to see a difference. But judge for your self, i took the pics so that you could see the chest and face so it would be easier to judge. I am kind of shocked in how quick he is responding to the change. Most likely the diet, and training are shocking his muscles.
After 5 days this is what i noticed. A loss of body fat, i also saw the Auger come in with so much more intensity. The obvious change in muscle mass. Especially in his upper chest and biceps. i cant wait to see what week 2 will bring us.
todays blog is dedicated to danny madden who came back to gym warriors and already put some size back on! reunited and it feels so good, for ryan homem.! ohh yah and mr. dyer i am not sure if you will even read this though!

the auger experiment part 10 Girl power
Today's Blog involves true Girl Power! I have heard time, and time again woman talking about how they don't want to get bulky from lifting weights, and how they saw this girl get so bulky from lifting. Myth! First of all woman lift weights to burn fat. Not to get big. You do not have the testosterone, or bone structure to put bulky muscle on. Unless your a man lifting weights pretending to be a female. Lifting will not make you big and bulky. If your getting bulky from weight training your obviously not doing it correctly. A lot of woman i have met were scared to lift weights because of all these rumors about weight training. I guess the first girl i really trained with the Girl power method was Nicole Gagne. She got a nice flat stomach, a round firm bum, and tight legs. Her body weight dropped by 10 pounds, all we did was weight training, heavy weight training. Then came Shawna SId, my x gf. Her transformation was very dramatic. She lost about 20 pounds, and tightened up every thing going down to a body weight of 130 pounds. But Shawna also became one of the best female powerlifters in Massachusetts with in a 6 month period. She ended up holding all the e.p.f powerlifting records, and it was a goal of hers to then try figure competition. My reputation for getting girls in shape goes much farther back to about 1996. But i never really broadcasted any thing that i had accomplished till recently. With Shawna i developed a system, a mathematical formula for strength and fat loss. This is the formula that i have been using on all my new recruits. The key factor is woman are very strong, they just don't know it. All you need to do is figure out how to tap into your natural strength and train so that it helps you burn fat, and become stronger. This is what i developed and this is what i am about to show you. Most woman can leg press massive amounts of weight, they just need to know how to increment the weights up. some of the guys reading this may be shocked, and may actually feel like; well a pussy.
yah that's kim above doing about 600 pounds on the leg press full reps , 4-6 reps. this was pretty heavy for her yes, but its more to prove the point. That woman can lift heavy ass weight be strong and get leaner. How many guys in the gym struggle with this type of weight.
So i decided to have Jenilee take a few stabs at the leg press. after she lost about 15 pounds from training with me we hit the leg press at about 420 pounds for 8-10 reps; full reps! i was very impressed with her performance. take a look below!
So we can move on to the deadlift, I see so many guys in the gym not doing them. Why would you not do deadlifts? probably because they are hard, too difficult for you? i think not, check this out. how about not 1, but 2 girls doing a 245 pound deadlift
By now you get the point that girls can be strong and burn body fat. The best part is that it really does not take long to get them strong using my theorem. I have only been training most of these girls for about 2 months. This is how i know that any one can be strong, you just need to know how to do it.
If you want to train with me, compete, get in shape, and loose bodyfat all you need to do is contact gym warriors. please follow the blog and you will learn and see the results from the next powerlifting contest may 28th. This is only the beginning.
Now back to the auger, Auger came in today full speed. I was training Derek, when auger screamed to me that he had just been in a tattoo shop when he saw my niece Rachel. He said he was talking to the artist about getting a tat on his elbow, when Rachel was sitting behind him. She hear him mentioned the blog, and then Rachel new she had seen him from the movie Arny. He left the tattoo parlor ready to train.
So today the Auger trained shoulders. He said he has to admit he is now learning how to train for the first time in his life. He enjoyed his shoulder workout greatly today. while he was training, He then grabbed an abb aqua force and 2 mass isopures. When the Auger was working out he was blasting the music. he kept on screaming NIce, not sure why. I would think that's a good sign. I have noticed his motivation has improved, Tomorrow will be officially the first week and first weigh in for the auger experiment. tune in tomorrow for a day of Auger proportions.
as always train to win!
